How tall do you have to be? Women must be at least 5 ft. 10 in. and men must be at least 6 ft. 2 in. You also must be at least 21 years of age.

The Tall Club of Greater Washington, D.C., an affiliate of Tall Clubs International (TCI), is a non-profit social organization. It is primarily, but not exclusively, a social club for men and women of above average height. In addition to its social functions, the Club also supports advocacy and charitable activities with both the Tall community and the greater local community. Social events range from conversation over dinner and drinks to dancing, theater, movies, concerts and outdoor sporting activities.

Annual dues are: $30 for individuals, $35 for couples and $20 for subscribers (those people who do not “measure up” to height requirements but want to receive our newsletter. Subscribers are welcome to attend all of the “open” functions offered by the Club.)
Prospective members must attend at least two functions during a 90-day period and have a Board member attest that he/she meets the height requirements. Once these requirements have been met, prospective members should mail a completed application, along with the membership dues made payable to the Tall Club of Greater Washington, DC at P.O. Box 1162, McLean, Virginia 22101-1162
Our monthly planning meetings are held the first Wednesday of every month, see the Calendar for the location. Social activities are held throughout the month at various locations. A newsletter announcing these events is published once a month and is distributed by email.

Are you under 21 years of age and about to start college in the fall? If so, you may be in luck! TCI annually awards student scholarship(s) of up to $1000 each to tall students who are under 21 years of age and attending their first year of college in the following Fall.
What are the requirements?
