Shirleen is from Fountain Valley, CA. She holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and a master's in the same, with a concentration in marketing. Currently, Shirleen is a police personnel analyst with the Huntington Beach Police Department.

She lists community involvement in Rainbows for Girls, the National Management Association and the Order of the Eastern Star. Besides her love for dancing, she enjoys traveling, woodworking, crafting and sewing.

Shirleen's favorite vacation destination is anywhere tropical, and her biggest regret is that she did not learn to be more secure in herself earlier in her life.

"Ass Miss TI, my first priority would be to get more people involved in the organization. I have found that the way to have the most fun is to work together on a common project. The more we get involved, the more people we get to know and the more fun we have."
