TCI member clubs have various social events throughout the year where local members, and oft times other TCI Club members, meet and socialize and otherwise celebrate their friendships and camaradarie together. Member Clubs also will often host a national level event, commonly referred to as a Club Weekend.   Club Weekends usually involve an organized gathering of fellow TCI members from any other Member Club, as well as local members. These functions will usually be characterized by the presence of a central location such as a hotel, where most of the attendees will stay for the duration of the event. The Weekend does not have to involve a hotel, as some Clubs offer campouts at state parks, cruises, etc.   However, the main elements indicating a national level event, as opposed to a local Club event, will normally be the arrangements for living accommodations for out of town attendees and perhaps airport recommendations and info for attendees to arrange flight schedules.    In addition, annually TCI holds a Convention, usually a week long affair, the first week of July. A predesignated Member Club will be the host and a couple hundred, or more, TCI members from all over North America will attend, renewing friendships, making new ones and conducting the business of the organization.   These national events are advertised at their own website.
