Our purpose is to promote the special issues that specifically face tall people today, that frequently are misunderstood or overlooked by the average citizen. We are a social group that helps people of height get together for fun, for community service, and for tall awareness events.
Golden Triangle Tall Club acts as a support group for people of "above average height" in Greater Pittsburgh and the Western Pennsylvania regional area.
We are NOT a dating service, but offer opportunities for tall people to meet one another in a friendly, supportive group situation in and about Greater Pittsburgh, and with other Tall Clubs throughout North America. (For example: You can go to a new restaurant and not be a total stranger.)
"Membership requirements are for anyone, at least age 21 or over, and standing at least:
5 feet 10 inches (women) or
6 feet 2 inches (men)
or greater in their stocking feet.
These requirements are set forth by Tall Clubs International® for uniformity among Member Clubs."
