Application deadline extended to May 1, 2008! Each year the Portland Skyliners Tall Club (PSTC) selects a high school senior or graduate (age 21 or younger who will be entering their first year of a 2- or 4-year college who meets the club's height requirement) and lives within 100 miles of Portland to be the recipient of a scholarship to be used for educational purposes.  The recipient of the PSTC scholarship is then entered to compete for scholarships awarded by Tall Clubs International (TCI). The application deadline has been extended to May 1, 2008, because information was late getting out to the high schools. Normally the application deadline is April 1.  You may apply earlier than that, but the best bet is to send in application that includes the most grading periods by April 1 on your transcript. The monetary award varies from year to year.  It will be no less than $200 and no more than $400. There is only one winner. The applicant must live within 100 miles of Portland, Oregon. The winner's application will be forwarded to Tall Clubs International to compete for several  $1000 scholarships. Contact the Scholarship Chairperson if you have any questions.
