The High Cincinnatians Website
is a public service for tall people in southwest Ohio

Members are encouraged to visit often for recent photos, details of upcoming events, announcements, calendars, newsletters and links to other relevant websites.  The site is also a great recruiting tool.  When you are talking to tall club prospects, be sure to give them our web address!

Our website is also on TCI's TALL.Org

That means if one server is down, you can try the other one. We will try to have the same content available on both servers at all times. Hopefully this will greatly increase the website's reliability.

GREAT NEWS!  We have had two prospects contact us this week using our new online membership application.  When we first introduced this feature, we called it “online registration” but that title was confusing to some people.  (“Register?  What am I registering for?”)  Anyway, it works!  Two people visited our website and used the application form that Jim Mixon designed and made available for free to all TCI clubs!  Dave and I both received their contact information via email within minutes.

HOW DO YOU MOVE AROUND THE WEBSITE?  When you enter our website (using either of our addresses), you are shown the Home Page.  From the Home Page, you can reach nearly every other page on the site with one click!  When you move your mouse cursor over a picture or text that contains a link, it will change to a pointing hand.  When you click a link, you will be shown a new page from the website, or will be sent to another website all together.

THE HOME PAGE – START HERE!  Most pages have navigation buttons (links to other pages or sites), but if you ever feel lost, just remember that you can return to the Home Page by clicking on the club’s business card logo:

The top part of the Home Page will usually not change (see figure above).  Try to think of the Home Page as an index to all other information on the website.  Since it is the first thing most new visitors see, we try to catch their interest with a few photos and “A Minute with Mayla”.

The rest of the page is filled with larger links to the pages most visitors are likely to want to visit, plus graphic links (pictures you can click) to other sites of interest (TCI.org and Tall Weekends).

WHY SHOULD YOU VISIT OUR WEBSITE? Next month, we will try to answer that question by taking a look at the types of information you can find on our website.  Meanwhile, pay us a visit at:
