Its finally spring! Yes, the ground is wet, but the sun is out and
so is the Tall Club!
On Tuesday night, May 31, there will be a planning meeting for our Tall
Club of Rochester Weekend, at 7pm at Zebbs, South Clinton Avenue in
Brighton. The TCR Weekend takes place July 29-31 at the Downtown Hyatt
Hotel. We need your help planning the dances, day trips and general
fun that tall folks from all over the country will have when they descend on
Rochester. Especially if you have never been to a Tall Clubs
International weekend, join us for this meeting, so you can learn what the
fuss is all about! Don't even think of missing our own Tall Club of
Rochester Roaring Twenties Weekend, July 29-31. For more information,

For our traditional social calendar in June, we will start with a trip to
Canandaigua on Friday night June 3. Doug Zachau, a member of TCR who
lives out of town, will be in town for the weekend, and he has suggested
that we meet at Rheinblick German Restaurant, 224
South Main Street in the heart of Canandaigua. Its a short drive from
Rochester and I am told, has great and authentic German food. Meet at
6:30 pm, and RSVPs are a must, not later than June 1.
On
June 17, we will have our first outdoor deck party, at Pomodoro's original
location, 1290 University Avenue in Rochester. Pomodoro's has plenty
of room inside, if the weather is nasty, but its jewel is its HUGE outdoor
deck! Meet us there at 6:30 and please RSVP to let us know you're
coming!
Finally,
don't forget the Tall Clubs International Convention in Seattle Washington.
It starts on June 26 and runs through July 3. If you are interested in
going for some or all of Convention, see Walt or myself...it is a trip of a
lifetime, but watch out...you just might get hooked!

meetings are the first TUESDAY of every OTHER month. We meet at 7pm at
Zebbs, on South Clinton Avenue, in
the Topps Plaza in Brighton. We value your input and encourage all
members to attend, as we plan our Club activities. If you have a favorite
place you would like the Club to enjoy, or an activity you would like
to do with some tall friends? Come to the meeting and let us know, or
