MON JULY 7 MONTHLY SOCIAL @ BERTUCCI’s 7:00 PM

Bertucci’s is where we are going this month. Come join your tall friends & make new tall friends at Bertucci’s on Route 110 in Melville. This is a great way to spend a week night with your tall friends & meet new tall friends. You don’t have to buy dinner but the good food will not break the bank. No call person; just join us for a relaxing evening.

SAT JULY 12 POOL PARTY / BBQ in Coram 2:00 PM

Barbara & Ken are again generously opening their Coram home for a Pool Party / BBQ. The price for a day of fun in the sun is $15.00, for everyone. All they ask is that you bring your own towel. So they know how many to prepare for, please contact them at 631-846-3682 and let them know you are coming. Anyone that has gone to their home before knows what a real treat this is. Directions - LIE to exit 63. Head North, a left turn and proceed approx 7 miles until you reach Route 112 on right side of road. Make a right - continue for approx 1/2 mile past LIPA Water Authority and make a left on to Barone Drive. Take it 2 Stop Signs to Samantha Drive, make left. At Atkinson Lane, make a right. They are 2nd house on the left side # 17.

SUN JULY 27 BETHPAGE PARK – DAY OF FUN 11:00 AM

What you do at this day in the park is up to you. Some ideas are for you to bring your bike as there is a great bike trail available; if you have a complete Badminton set – bring it; please feel free to bring a BOCCE set, Horseshoes, Frisbee, Backgammon, Cards, Scrabble or anything else that suits your fancy. Please bring your own chair. For this event, BYOB (Bring Your Own Beverage, this way you are sure to have what you like to whet your whistle with. We believe each person should bring something to feed approximately 12 people (about $15 worth.) Please contact Carol Kotliar at 516-489-3117 or TallGal19@hotmail.com and she will coordinate what you should bring for the BBQ.

MON JULY 28 BOARD MEETING 7:30 PM

Come join the Executive Board as they make plans for the club for the coming months. We would love to hear your input as this is YOUR club and we want to have events that everyone can enjoy. FRI AUG 1 PORCAO CHURRASCARIA 7:00 pm

Join our NYC Tall Club friends at this popular Brazilian restaurant located at 360 Park Ave. South (@ 26th Street, SW corner). Brazilian food is the specialty served churrascaria arrangement (unlimited South American style cuts of meats & fish). Drinks $7 to $14. Porcão supplies delicious Brazilian finger food for TCNYC (complementary Brazilian appetizers). This is a casual evening for drinks and socializing. Come join the party. Look for them in the bar area.
