About the Tall Club of Orange County

The Tall Club of Orange County is a not-for-profit social organization whose purpose is to provide a wide range of social activities for adults of above average height.  We are located in Orange County, Southern California.  Our activities range from social events such as monthly dances and house parties to bike riding, volleyball, and beach parties.  We have fund raisers and donate to the National Marfan Foundation and also offer college scholarships.

Tall Clubs International

We are affiliated with Tall Clubs International (TCI), a group of Tall Clubs throughout North America, with affiliate clubs in Europe.  Select the large button on the right to open a window at TCI.

Site Construction

While we don't claim to be among the most trafficked web sites, this site, like those, employs modern web coding languages and techniques that are more flexible than simpler code used several years ago.  What this means to our visitors is that unless they have a browser that supports these languages, they won't be able to take advantage of some features at this site. 

An example of this flexibility is that our pages are constructed to be printer friendly.  Areas that you see on screen used for page-to-page navigation will not appear on the printed page and page headings may look different on paper compared to their screen version.

Development effort has been concentrated more towards providing meaningful content and quick loading for dial-up visitors instead of a slick and polished look.  Later on we will see what we can do about polishing it.  If you have any questions about our design, or why a page looks different on your computer compared to what you saw on someone else's, or your browser configuration settings, check the browser requirements for best viewing.
