So, how can you become a member of this TALL group of people?  Members of GGTT range in age from their 20's to 80's.  The majority of our members are single men and women interested in meeting and socializing with other tall people.       

If you are tall and live near the San Francisco Bay Area and enjoy being in the presence of Tall people, please read below about becoming a member of GGTT.  We're just waiting for YOU to make some Tall memories with us!

New Prospective Members

Membership in the Golden Gate Tip Toppers has the following REQUIREMENTS:

• Height:   Men 6'2", Women 5'10" or taller when measured in bare feet.
• Age:  21 years or older.
• Marital Status: Single, divorced, or having obtained an interlocutory decree.  If married, both partners must meet requirements and join as a couple.

Members Transferring From Another TCI Club

A member in good standing with another TCI affiliated tall club may apply to the Golden Gate Tip Toppers simply by contacting GGTT's Membership Vice President and forwarding a letter of recommendation from the other club on that club's letterhead.  Height measurement is not necessary in these cases. 

Membership Application

To become a member, one must meet the minimum requirements (listed above), have attended one of our events, and submit an application along with a check for one year's dues to be cashed after you have joined the club.  Annually, membership dues are $30 for individuals or $45 for married couples.  At some time before membership is finalized, your height must be measured by a club officer.  All membership applications are considered at the next month's business meeting.
