Tall Club International™ traces its beginnings to 1938 and the inspiration of a very tall young woman who got a little tired of being teased about the short men she was coloring for Walt Disney Studios at the time. The young woman was Kae Sumner Einfeldt, and the movie was Disney's original "Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs." Now, decades later, thousands of tall people have Kae to thank for a lifetime of fun and meaningful relationships which they have shared with their extended family of tall friends from all around the world.
In addition to regular events such as house parties, hikes, biking,
dancing, bowling, dine outs, and more, members of Tall Clubs International
Tall Clubs look forward to the annual TCI Convention held in different interesting places each year. It is usually near the first week in July, and is always guaranteed to be round-the-clock fun for everyone.
A lot of socializing takes place online these days, but once you join the
Tall Clubs International family, you'll see what we mean when we say
there is no substitute for the experience of being surrounded by lots of
other "vertically gifted" people in real life! It's a world where dancing
cheek-to-cheek finally becomes a reality!
We hope you're finding your way around the new TCI website easily.

About Tall Clubs International
Tall Clubs International™ (TCI™) traces its beginnings to 1938 and the inspiration of a very tall young woman who got a little tired of being teased about the short men she was coloring for Walt Disney Studios at the time. The young woman was Kae Sumner Einfeldt, and her job was coloring images for the original "Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs." Now, decades later, thousands of tall people have Kae to thank for a lifetime of fun and meaningful relationships which they have shared with their “extended" family of tall friends from all around the world. We’re happy to say “It’s a TALL World After All!"
Tall People Getting Together
TCI Tall Clubs do lots of everything—parties, hikes, biking, dances, bowling, dine outs—you name it! The difference is in doing all those things with people who share one big thing in common—greater than average height! The sensation of standing in a group of people you can actually look straight in the eye, people who know what a pain it can be to find long enough sleeves and big enough shoes, people who grew up standing out in a crowd and are now making you feel “average.” There is simply nothing else like it, especially at the week-long annual TCI Convention!
TCI is not a dating club, but it should be pointed out that many of our married members met each other in a Tall Club. We do in fact have some third generation members on the way up!
TCI Gives Back
Tall Clubs International™ supports two height-related, non-profit organizations. TCI Foundation is a 501c3 which is completely separate from TCI. Each year they grant numerous $1,000 scholarships to tall high school seniors. Marfan syndrome is a genetic disorder that affects the body’s connective tissue. Many people with Marfan syndrome are also very tall, as was our Founder Kae Sumner Einfeldt. for that reason, TCI also supports the Marfan Foundation with fundraisers and often volunteering to assist at their events.
